Vietnam Tourism Advertised On French TV
A film crew from France’s TV5 channel has shot the Vit Co Xanh ecological village in northern Hoa Binh Province and Sao Bien yacht in Halong Bay, Quang Ninh Province. French film makers came to Vietnam under the sponsorship of Vietnam Adventure Company. This film will be broadcasted on TV5’s Tourism Discover programme, which introduces unique tourist sites to the French-speaking community. | |

Vietnamese Artists Exhibit Lacquer Paintings in Japan
The exhibition, entitled “a destination for peace”, was organized by the Tokyo America Club to give Japanese viewers an idea of Vietnamese people’s daily lives. The two Vietnamese artists’ creations impressed visitors, particularly the works Dong song vang (golden river), Dem Noel (Christmas), Hoang hon do (Red sunset) and Pho hoa (Flower street), which are in a modern style.
